State Fair Hymn Sing
The Christian Church in the Upper Midwest has the opportunity again this year to bless lives through the Iowa State Fair Hymn Sing outreach mission. The Iowa State Fair is August 9 – 19, we will need volunteers each day to greet people at the door, lead the singing, play the piano, sweep the church about an hour before the hymn sing begins, straighten up afterwards and refill all the hymn book display holders.
We provide free admission tickets and a parking ticket for our volunteers so the only cost to you is your time. If you are willing to assist with this witness and mission please contact JoAnn Thomas. The State Fair has some new requirements this year and we will need to know much earlier who will be assisting us.
